Annemarie Wright’s highly-acclaimed, written artworks are uniquely creative. She pens incredibly detailed portraits using hand-written text. An English artist from Cambridgeshire, Annemarie intends to provoke thought and conversation with her work.
Wright’s portrait of Lewis Hamilton, captures the British racing star in a typical track-side pose. The original portrait of Lewis, titled ‘Born to Race’, is constructed from hand-written quotes by Hamilton himself, such as ‘You just need to be accepted for who you are and proud of who you are and that is what I am trying to do’.
Wright still manages to capture detail in the image – such as the reflection on his sunglasses. Even Hamilton’s necklace is intricately reproduced using a hand-written quote. The artwork is available in a strictly limited edition of 50 prints - each hand-signed and numbered by Annemarie Wright.
Professionally framed in a matt black frame with conservation-grade white mountboard. Framed print measures 49cmH x 62cmW.
