This photo captures Clay Regazzoni - as described by Richard:

“Usually in control regardless of the situation, Clay Regazzoni shows rarely seen fatigue at the end of the 1972 Formula One season with Ferrari that brought him only one podium. He would leave for BRM the next season, but re-gather his “cool” for a return to Ferrari in 1974, with Niki Lauda as his teammate, where he finished runner-up in the World Driver’s Championship standings. He would later drive for Ensign and Shadow, and at age 39, capture the first Formula One victory for Williams at the 1979 British Grand Prix.”

Ayrton said in 1993 ‘If you take away Eau Rouge, you take away the reason why I do this’, which is why Paul Oz selected this particular pose. Senna as he would've been positioned when driving this most iconic section of track – left – right – up hill, accelerating hard, back end trying to kick out.

An incredibly detailed project which has taken almost 12 months to complete, Paul Oz has captured a life-size Ayrton Senna cast in bronze. Paul and his design team have used the latest technology and best in craftsmanship to create this beautiful piece.

160kg of raw bronze, cast by the most prestigious foundry in the world.

Just three life-size bronzes will be created.
